is it only the muslims who do riot in india?u guys definitely sound like that
Do you see a problem with these nut jobs rioters, the world over, or do you think they are just like some Hindu rioters in India or some Christian rioters in the western world? A riot in multiple countries, killing people, over a no-name documentary/movie made by some random individual is about as stupid as it gets.

TBH, I feel deeply hurt when people come up with such antiques and express themselves like this in the name of freedom of expression. Obviously, they do not know the prophet but these nutjobs should but they dont either. These idiots go ransacking the properties, killing innocent lives murdering very meaning of Islam. The word Islam has so much peace and comfort. God know what these idiots follow. Just few weeks ago we had incidence and here we go again. Punish them all.

Pakistan blocks over 700 YouTube links to anti-Islam film http://www.ndtv.com/article/world/pakistan-blocks-over-700-youtube-links-to-anti-islam-film-268426

Islamabad: Pakistan on Monday blocked over 700 links to an anti-Islam film on YouTube that has triggered anti-US protests across the Muslim world, including Pakistan, officials said. The decision was taken after the Supreme Court issued orders to the state-owned Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to block links to the movie, reported Xinhua. Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry directed the PTA to take down all sacrilegious material that disrespects Islam or Prophet Mohammad in any way. He asked the PTA chief to submit a report about the action he will take following the directives. The PTA director general told Pakistan's Supreme Court that almost 100 new clips of the anti-Islam film proliferated on YouTube every day. He said that the PTA had written a letter to YouTube, requesting the removal of such clips, but the video-sharing website replied that it does not have any such agreement with the government of Pakistan. Justice Chaudhry directed the Pakistan Electronic Media Regularity Authority to set up "standards of modesty" and submit a reply in this regard within two weeks. The government earlier had claimed that the PTA and the information technology ministry had blocked 122 anti-Islamic websites over the past few days. The authorities had also told the public that any blasphemous material that comes to their attention must be reported immediately to the PTA through phone or email. The government clarified that it was not blocking popular websites YouTube and Facebook, but only anti-Islamic material would be blocked. Officials say that obscene material will be blocked on case-to-case basis. Links to the anti-Islam movie were blocked amid series of protests across Pakistan over the past few days. One person was killed and dozens were injured in clashes between the police and protestors in Karachi on Sunday after the demonstrators pelted stones at the US consulate in the city.

even India is doing this.. I would prefer this approach over going around damaging properties and killing people.
Censorship is not going to stop mobs going on a rampage. Most of them would not have even seen the movie, just got enraged after hearing about it and that is going to happen regardless of it being accessible in India. These kind of incidents only give the government an excuse to clamp down on the internet and police content on the net. If anything censorship is something which should be protested against.

There are two very serious points that must not get lost on anyone in the shadow of the other: 1. Senseless rioting and killing innocent people never achieves anything. Nothing at all. It must not be allowed at any cost whatsoever. 2. People should not be allowed to make such idiotic films on the name of freedom of speech. Making fun of or humiliating those you dislike in an insensitive way is not a civilized way of expressing an opinion or making a point. If someone in the society wishes to express anti-religious views, they should do so in a more civilized manner.

And as far as Muslims are concerned, all I can say is that the movie could not have gotten any better publicity than the Muslims themselves provided, just like the publicity campaigns they unwittingly provided to the Danish cartoons or like the publicity Hindus provided to MF Hussein's controversial paintings. Idiots and haters will always remain in the society and they grow on attention. There is no better way to counter them than to cut off the attention they crave.

Any individual who is part of these type of mobs should be arrested and sent back to their country of choice, they dont deserve to live in pluralistic societies, if no muslim country wants to take them create another australia (some remote land mass) and send these guys over there, with no possible avenue of exit. They can live within that land and protest to their hearts content. Curtailing freedom of speech is a slippery slope and should never ever be encouraged, every one and everything in the public domain has the right to be criticzed, made fun of, be vulgarish and do whatever people want to do with it. To people who get offended, please get a life or take your offense within your own places.Disgraceful pathetic idiots
