What would India have done without kohli?

Don't combine tournament and individual matches together. For world cup we had Yuvraj. Ever since he started his dream run in Australia Kohli has been our main stay. Talk about individual matches. In the last one year he has got 9 centuries acros all formats for India. India won 8 of them. You know the next best is. 2 centuries by Gauti. You come here with a straight face and say Kohli's poor performance means India will do well. :cantstop:
That is the unfortunate truth

Still waiting for someone to point out an ODI tournament that India has won because of Kohli. Even a Test series maybe. :giggle: And my logic is supposed to be flawed? :hmmm:
Firstly, my statement was in good humour, so if it offended you (having said that, who wouldnt be offended being compared to Siri Chu :giggle:) I apologise.... About the logic part, it takes a team to win even a single cricket match, and you are talking about him winning the entire series.... He wouldnt have won us an entire series but had he not been there, we'd have been thoroughly humiliated, and not just beaten..... he was at least a saving grace for us in the ODIs in England, hit the only century from the Indian side in Australia (Test Series) and gave us (at least me) a reason to cheer in Asia cup even if we didnt make it to the Final.... there would've been no end to the gloating n trolling from our friendly neighbors (both of them, n i guess u'll get my drift).... at least this has kept their mouths shut.... my two cents, n peace :om::om:

You need to take a post/argument in its spirit and not bring in mundane cricketing truths/logic in the argument

That is unfortunate illusion in your head. HHhe has won 9 man of the match awards across all formats in the last 12 months. Next best is 4 moms by Ashwin. Next best is 2 moms by bunch of guys.

Not exactly. The match he scored 183 and 133 India actually won the games. When he clicks big way India goes on to win especially while chasing.
Which is the case with over 70% of Sachin's 100s in ODIs. Whats your point?

seriously the comments from some people make me  So why should Kohli be blamed because his seniors have been so pathetic? Why is it his fault that Nohit plays and the trundlers bowl full tosses. This guy singlehandedly won you matches, important or not. Now had he not been there India wouldve struggled a lot. TBH, kohli won you guys the last match as well when top 3 failed. If he got out cheaply it wouldve been a whole different story. People are straying away from the topic of the thread

No.. the parallel was drawn because "sachin tendulkar century india loses match" theory was equated to Kohli.

:(( Crucifying me for speaking the truth :((
You speaking the truth ... Lol By the way I called you a troll as you said dont bring truths/logic into arguments ... like we will accept your BS without an argument ... BTW Kohli won us the test series against Kiwis recently with his century and a half-century in Bangalore including helping us in a difficult chase alongwith Kaptaan Kool :icflove:

No, I drew the parralel because we always used to/still do blame the one guy who performed and not blame the 10 other who did Jack

No' date=' I drew the parralel because we always used to/still do blame the one guy who performed and not blame the 10 other who did Jack[/quote'] i don't think anyone blamed Kohli till now , until Mr.Saurav started his trolling :cantstop:

What has the thread got to do with the supposed tactical genius of Dhoni - not that it's relevant anymore since the thread has already well and truly turned into a troll fest? And neither is this the first time you've brought this argument' date=' which frankly is as irksome as Ganguly fans crediting the success of Yuvraj, Sehwag etc. to Ganguly. Even that is fine as that's your opinion, but at least don't making sweeping generalizations like "We all" when there were quite clearly a number of posters who wanted Kohli to continue to make some point like Dhoni proved "we all" wrong by continuing with Kohli.[/quote'] This thread in itself does not hold much value. For god's sake, this kid has had just 6 months of a dream run and people make threads like he should go to county and al the other stuffs. I have made the correction of the "We All" bit. And again, I am yet to state that I do feel that Dhoni deserves the credit. It was meant to for those who say the same things like Ganguly fans say all the other BS arguements.
