His was the smallest role but he pulled it off with panache. His, and Amitabh's chemisty in Pardah hai Pardah was awesome. :giggle: By the way also concur with Yoda saab that the son is hype, Khaaya piya kuch nahin towel giraaya baarah aana.

Dolly Parton is a one trick pony, actually two if you know what I mean. Nitu was great. Lovely personality, very pretty and a husky voice. I liked him in "Hum Kisise ..." and "Zamaane ko.." as well. Stylish actor with excellent dialogue delivery. And coming back to "Amar Akbar.." all the three actors (or heroes) were brilliant. That movie had so many epic scenes. The Amar-Anthony fight,the scene where Amar finds his toy gun,The ending scene had amazing comic timing,most of the scenes with Pran and Jeevan ..

That CD/tape combination would be one owned by every music lover :winky: Yeah I agree those were both good movies, and Rafu chakkar was good too. You are so right Yoda saab on how there are only great directors, no great actors. AAA is a Directors movie. Amazing how Manmohan Desai was relegated as a Khoya Paaya director back in the day with AAA, Naseeb, DharamVeer etc...but these are all classics now. Us samay everybody was going gaga with classical directors but it is Manmohan Desai who may very well have stood the test of time.

Take a secular India, make a movie that draws people of religion, why didn't anybody think of that. Just out of emergency, the time period was of hope. It was a perfect recipe. Some of the scenes like the Qawwali, AB and RK scenes in the hospital with Mukhri, the whole Anthony Gonzalves scene which started the AB-Bewada skits in many movies later, edited very well also. It is enjoyable every time we see it in a few years.

Yeah it was, wasnt it? Including the one in Hum which was absolutely dumb (ek cockroach ) But one of the better ones of AB in drunken stupor was in Hera Pheri with Vinod Khanna, VK reading Hanuman Chaaalisa going Bajrang Bali meri naao chali, jara bali kripa ki laga dena..and AB going Abbe saale bali nahin bamboo lagega :haha: Need to watch those movies again.:giggle:
