Including the one in Hum which was absolutely dumb ([i']ek cockroach ) But one of the better ones of AB in drunken stupor was in Hera Pheri with Vinod Khanna, VK reading Hanuman Chaaalisa going Bajrang Bali meri naao chali, jara bali kripa ki laga dena..and AB going Abbe saale bali nahin bamboo lagega :haha: Need to watch those movies again.:giggle: Planning to watch these now: Shaan,Naseeb,Hera Pheri,Qurbani (Gun film BTW,Amjad Khan is bril)

Lurker Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Planning to watch these now: Shaan,Naseeb,Hera Pheri,Qurbani (Gun film BTW,Amjad Khan is bril) Add Khoon Pasina to the list. Some of the movies may be hard to sit through in their entirety, times have changed and all but still worth a good watch. Khoon Pasina title song is fantastic. The stories in there lol. It is interesting how back then taking stabs at politics via small comment was so prevalent (Hrishikesh Mukherjee of course did it routinely). Even in the Khoon Pasina song you have that thing about goonda Hua jo MISA jaari, akad wo tooti saari To Zaalim andar, chor bhi andar hosh theekhane aayenge jaise mara hai zaalim saare maare jaayenge issiliye to kahta hoon yaaroon.. There is a Baba-Guru song where Yonus Parvez is hilarious :giggle:

Aruna Irani too. Vinod Khanna had a different kind of role, with shade of villain. For some reason Naseeb has never been a movie I have enjoyed. It has its moments but it seemed to drag. There is a scene though that I still remember even thought it has been ages. Reena Roy attempts suicide because her love is not reciprocated by Shatrughan Sinha. There is this single shot where Shatrughan Sinha says Arre saalon tum logon ne to mera bhaav hi badha diya...Maa kasam paisa wasool!! :yay:
