Donny
VVS Laxman scored 85 n.o. from 86 balls for Lancashire today, in a Pro 40 match against Worcester. Glen Chapple was 25 n.o. from 10 balls. Lancs scored 6/254. Link to comment
The Outsider
Outstrikes rather than outscores I would think. Link to comment
Ram
Donny is very mischievous. He has deliberately titled this thread this way so that we would object to the logic of how a batsman who is 25 n.o could outscore a batsman who is 85 n.o Link to comment

Donny
What sad responses. "Irellevant thread" ??? "clear case of trying to get the attention by saying stupid things" "you have to wonder the way he's been trolling if he's really an aussie or not..." I noticed VVS had scored at run-a-ball in a one dayer and, as he's the player dropped for Yuvi for India's ODIs, thought it newsworthy. Yes, my heading was an attention getter but so what ?? Thanks MP and tics. Link to comment
The Outsider
^ Donny, your thread title was factually incorrect in addition to an attention getter. As for Laxman and ODIs, the Indian team already has too many old bones in the side. ODIs are for fit and agile players unless you bring something extraordinary to the table like Tendulkar does. Donny
I understand all of that, shwet. VVS is an Indian batsman and my main thought was to report his innings in this, and Indian fansite. And the title wasn't factually incorrect. I was referring to the closing overs where Chapple scored 25 in a partnership of 30 with Laxman. Link to comment
Ram
And the title wasn't factually incorrect. I was referring to the closing overs where Chapple scored 25 in a partnership of 30 with Laxman. Then your title should have said Chapple outscores Laxman in the end Donny and simply not - Chapple outscores Laxman. Looking at the scorecard , it is obvious Laxman was the mainstay of the batting. If someone were to see your headline , they would be tempted to think it was Chapple who had done all the running . Link to comment
Donny
Ok. I've had more than enough of this lecturing. Find your own news. Maybe some of you could turn you attention to this sort of topic title, submitted shortly after Ravi posted a thread about 'cussing'. "For want of a facking ALL ROUNDER!!! for India!" Link to comment
Rajiv
Laxman is a good ODI bat too, wasnt given enuff chances. Remember his 3 ODIS century in a week Link to comment
Shehezaada
yo donny...don't you have some squash balls to cut up and put in your glove for your game this week? Link to comment
