If they did, why couldn't she get such a simple thing into her head. 2. She should never have anything to eat from strangers. 3. Given she is 6 in all likelihood she was wearing some provocative clothing like a frock. :giggle: Its really a :WTF: incident. How can these men live on earth, do they not feel ashamed of themselves? They don't deserve to live at all.

Bhai it's not just about sex....rape is about power/control as well psychologically speaking. Rapists get immense high/pleasure/sexual release from knowing their victim is under their control and they can pretty much do anything to them like a puppeteer.... it's sick, twisted.

The Outsider Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 No sarcasm: I think a lot of this has got to do with the fact that a lost of rapes went unreported, but with media coverage more people are coming out against this atrocity. The fundamental balance of a society is difficult to change over a short time, but the reporting criteria can be influenced by a lot of external factors. Maybe for the first time the Indian society is realizing the depth and disgust of this menace? Just a thought?

This is the definition of rape that is universally accepted - The Indian version where an individual can be charged with rape if they don't go ahead with promise of marriage is complete bullocks.

Those kind of laws exist on paper like getting six months in Jail in Utah for homosexuality.

A 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a food vendor outside her school in Fatehabad for over four months. The 62-year-old accused allegedly used to lure the teen with fruits and then rape her. The incident came to light on Saturday when the victim complained to her father. The teenager, studying in Class 6 in a government school, was made to undergo a medical examination which confirmed rape, following which a case was filed and the suspect arrested. But what's more shocking is the way the victim was treated by her school authorities after they came to know of the rape - the victim and her two siblings were expelled from the school. "The school authorities were sitting in the park along with the sarpanch. I was made to sit in the office and they decided to cancel the names of all my three daughters...Not just one, all three of my daughters are sitting at home now," said the victim's father. "When I asked them why the names of my daughters were struck off, they just said your daughters won't study here," he added. However, the principal of the government school says that it was the father who withdrew the names of his daughters from the school. In just 34 days, at least 19 rape cases have been reported from Haryana. On one side the state government has been unable to control the spiralling number of rape cases, on the other, a Haryana Congress leader, a few days ago, said that 90 per cent of rapes are consensual. :wall:
