kubrickian Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Loving it though.. No DRS.. STFU.. STFU. There is no excuse for bad umpiring. Even with DRS, what happens after the reviews are over ?
Number Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 It takes a blind to not give that. Shocking.
King Tendulkar Posted November 24, 2012 Author Posted November 24, 2012 Some of the calls dar has not given would have hit half way up middle. Ridiculous cheating
jairamesh Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 STFU. There is no excuse for bad umpiring. Even with DRS' date=' what happens after the reviews are over ?[/quote'] But I feel, umpires give those 50/50 decisions more often when Hawkeye is involved. Which explains so many lbw decisions in Pak v Eng and SL v Eng series. Pak got undone when they had no DRS for SL v Pak series. And number of lbws were also low.
Trichromatic Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 STFU. There is no excuse for bad umpiring. Even with DRS' date= what happens after the reviews are over ? Well, that's human nature. Which umpire has been good on all days? You can't change that. Even best umpires will have off days.

Umpires giving lbws based on technology which itself is deeply flawed. Even the maker admitted that it should be used only for ruling out howlers and not for accurate decisions.
asterix Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 STFU. There is no excuse for bad umpiring. Even with DRS' date=' what happens after the reviews are over ?[/quote'] Umpires have every excuse to give bad umpiring against BCCI.. All in good cause..
India-KXIP fan Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Cook was just way to plumb to not be given, any other umpire would have given it :wall Would have been such a big wicket bringing in the chit players like that barrystow, patel etc.
BERGKAMP Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Umpires have every excuse to give bad umpiring against BCCI.. All in good cause.. agree, i hope we get many more howlers if it will open the eyes of bcci bc's.

kubrickian Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 agree' date=' i hope we get many more howlers if it will open the eyes of bcci bc's.[/quote'] Take your hatred out against BCCI, not against players and fans. You are brainwashed by English media propaganda. Feel sorry for you poor souls.

Even the maker admitted that it should be used only for ruling out howlers and not for accurate decisions. I don't know if it's good or bad thing. But I am pretty sure, we would have bowled England out under 300 runs in 2nd innings of 1st Test. And in the current Test, Cook and Pietersen would have been out by now. With 50/50 calls, umpires always favour batsmen when no DRS involved. But having said that I agree with you. I rather not have predictive analysis making the decisions. But we should have DRS for edges. So DRS without Hawkeye:two_thumbs_up:.
kubrickian Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Well' date=' that's human nature. Which umpire has been good on all days? You can't change that. Even best umpires will have off days.[/quote'] This is not an off day. Any sensible person can see that. He gave Zaheer out caught when the ball was miles away from the bat. He didnt give a couple of plumb lbws in this innings too. There were as many as 7 or 8 bad decisions in the first test too. Just like players are criticized, umpires should be too because they are also professionals. Even with DRS, a lot rests on umpiring decisions after the reviews are over.
saneindian Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 No point blaming the umpire At least he has been consistent in not giving plumb lbws for either side. If he had given Ashwin LBW yesterday we would have been 230 all out.
namasteji1 Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 He seems to have lost it. Good that he won't be here for last 2 tests. Rod tucker & Dharmasena will be there who give lots of lbw's.

Yes, but do we say that players are deliberately doing that?
