DRS or No DRS. Poor umpiring from Aleem Dar. Gave poor decision to both sides thorough out the two matches. Cook though has been the biggest beneficiary of Dar's generosity, accumulating over 200 runs thanks to Dar.

If we or anyone don't use DRS doesn't mean that the Umpires are supposed to be trash!

Dar saved Cook in these two tests where he went on to score centuries. He wont be as lucky from here.

Was supposed to be on 60 something in the 1st Test and that sweep shot at 80 something in the 2nd Test. Stop bringing DRS us up its not an excuse for this filthy umpiring which also went against them.

Once in a while umpires will have off days. No one can stop that. It's not that Dar has been consistently poor for years. You can't expect them to perform well in every inning. :winky:

But, if either team starts to feel the pinch...then you realize the advantage of DRS. In the Aus-SA match, Du Plessis survived two bad decisions, with the benefit of DRS. Otherwise, SA would have lost today.

and thats why the whole thing is fkd up. one man can have a major boost to his stats and team in one match because of drs and it can be the total opposite in another match where there is no drs. icc need to grow a pair and implement it all across the board or scrap the whole thing all together.
