saneindian Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Our team looks outclassed in all departments and suddenly England look the favorites to take the next two tests with their bowling attack looking much more stronger despite Broad's problems and many of their batsmen struggling. Is there a way back for us in the series? In recent times, this team has crumbled far too often under pressure in test cricket. In the next one week, can the team shed it complacence and play to its potential? With a home series loss on the horizon, will MSD and the team management finally shed that defensive cocoon and be proactive? Surely they would fully be aware that a home series loss would mean all of them losing their positions.
vamos_rafa Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Most certainly yes. There is no reason why we can't. This is our home ground and we know the conditions better. Also, this team is being rebuilt so a few losses are bound to happen.
CG Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 No ,We will not be able to bounce back. When ever we have lost a test our ploy has been to prepare a turning track but that is unlikely now and with moron dhoni as captain who is a shameless jerk we have no chance.
Trichromatic Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Yes, we manage to drop few players and the umpires.
Nova Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Oh yes we will come back. It's a new beginning in Kolkata.
R.D forever Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 If the selectors have the balls to drop sachin gambhir harbhajan and yuvraj when they announce the squad , YES WE CAN
vamos_rafa Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Oh yes we will come back. It's a new beginning in Kolkata. Circa 2001 :winky:
Pagalpanti Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 We were never gonna win 4-0 anyway. Expect Kolkata to be a real turner and last test to be a flat pancake, so that we claim the series 2-1.

I see Tendulkar is still enjoying his game, tried and tested failures like Yuvraj and Raina are still playing test cricket, Kaptaan Kool is still spreading fields and sucking at keeping, Harbhajan is walking into the national side after doing nothing in domestic cricket, and Gambhir will still open in the next innings.

You see he has opened new gyms and started a motor racing school.
namasteji1 Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Yes, we will comeback. I sense an innings victory at Kolkata for India.

Issey jyada turner aur kya chahiye. We need a wiocket like Ahmedbad and we will get that at Eden for sure. We cannot handle Madhusudan on such ttack.

Everything will change. But nothing happens. It's been story of not just cricket. :cantstop:
namasteji1 Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 I think Panesar is overrated. Do you remember how Gilchrist smashed him at Perth?
CG Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 I think Panesar is overrated. Do you remember how Gilchrist smashed him at Perth? There is a reason swann is eng best spinners.Panesar is one dimensional bowler.

Yuvraj has a case of being selected and hence was brought in and that too for Raina. The other 3 have been bloopers really. But, when I said rebuilt, atleast middle order and bowling to an extent are being rebuilt and that's where Harbhjaan's inclusion was sad.
