Sandeep99 Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Dhoni! Such a fool whining around all corners! Learn to play first! Hurting all the pride the country has
Trichromatic Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 So much drama in Indian cricket
Crookbond Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 All speculations. Yes the team was complacent and probably thought they had won the battle moment they got a turning track. I would back them to come back stronger. Remember before the series the general consensus was we need 4 turning tracks each vs Eng and Aus. Lets not be so fickle after one loss, spinning track is still our best chance of winning the last 2 tests. We may win even on flat pattas where reverse swing comes into play on day 4 and 5, but why kill your bowlers on such pattas when you are playing back to back tests and especially with nearly every pacer in the country injured right now. :two_thumbs_up:

That's the way it is here. You win the match and people will start whinging for turners for the next tour on England!
Rohit S. Ambani Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Srini has adopted Dhoni after problem's with his own son due to his sexual orientation. Dhoni will inherit the Srini's cement business. Srini admire's Dhoni, he always wanted Dhoni like son and he is very open to say this in Public, search Google. Check the look on Srini's face, let me it's not LOVE! Yes it could be fatherly love.
CG Posted November 28, 2012 Author Posted November 28, 2012 The timing may be wrong but this curator deserved to be sacked right after that ODI vs SA in 2005 when he prepared a grassy track to ensure India hand over the advantage to SA just because Dravid was leading the side and Dada was not in the side. BTW those of you slamming the decision, do you remember the sentiments on the forum after he had refused to prepare a turning a track at Eden when we had been humiliated by SA at Ahmedabad in 2010, were trailing 1-0 and would have lost our no 1 rank had we lost at Eden? Gavaskar said on ndtv prabir mukherjee the curator is known for being his own man and not listening to anybody.Anyways he is well within his rights to prepare any pitch.
Trichromatic Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Gavaskar said on ndtv prabir mukherjee the curator is known for being his own man and not listening to anybody.Anyways he is well within his rights to prepare any pitch. Isn't he an employee of cricket association? :hmmm:
CG Posted November 28, 2012 Author Posted November 28, 2012 Isn't he an employee of cricket association? :hmmm: He is his own man according to gavaskar and ganguly.
Trichromatic Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 He is his own man according to gavaskar and ganguly. But he has right to prepare any pitch according to you. How?

Top post. Let's not forget what this curator did to hurt Indian cricket because of his own prejudice. I wouldnt be surprised if this guy prepared a green top just to get back at Dhoni. He seems like an adamant, egoistic man.
CG Posted November 28, 2012 Author Posted November 28, 2012 But he has right to prepare any pitch according to you. How? Its his job ,He should prepare the pitch according to what he thinks best .
King Tendulkar Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Frankly if all this results in a pitch which gets us the win I will be more then happy.
Trichromatic Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Its his job ' date='He should prepare the pitch according to what he thinks best .[/quote'] When you're getting paid for a service, then you do what employer wants. Otherwise you're free to leave the job.
King Tendulkar Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Frankly sounds like groundsman wants a dull, lifless 5 day pitch. While team wants a spicy pitch , which will make for a great match.

Although I don't agree with the demand of a rank turner. But I can't see why curator should refuse to provide such pitch.
Nova Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Although I don't agree with the demand of a rank turner. But I can't see why curator should refuse to provide such pitch. Is it even possible for Eden pitch to behave like Wankhede? The soil is different... :dontknow: How do you suppose the curator can deliver such a pitch... I don't get it.
Trichromatic Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 He is paid to do his job for best of his abilities and because he is the best. Also he did ask for written request from bcci if they wanted a turning track. Fair enough if he wanted instructions in written. But he is not paid for doing whatever he wants. He can do whatever he wants if board has no problem.

The soil is different... :dontknow: How do you suppose the curator can deliver such a pitch... I don't get it. Maybe it's not possible to make similar pitch. But a turner was refused for 2 reasons 1. Curator doesn't think that is the best pitch 2. He wanted instructions in written. If it is not possible then why did he say that he needs instructions to prepare such pitch? Has anyone cited that reason for not preparing turner?
