Duncan Fletcher's Mission Accomplished!!!

I guess Duncan Fletcher can go with a smile on his face after doing what nobody could have thought possible. From the heights of WC win with no. 1 Test ranking to boot, Fletcher oversaw the steep free-fall of the team with an unprecedented back-to-back white-washes where India went 0-8. Along with the Test demise even the performances in shorter formats weren't anything to shout about with India crashing out in the Asia Cup, CB Series and T20 Cup. Since Fletcher joined the Indian team, the team has to win anything of note in any format. I sure hope the current Eng series is the last we see of him. Fletcher is to Indian team what KT (King Tendulkar) is to predictions at ICF - a huge panauti.

That's below belt on KT. :hysterical: I am amazed he hasn't been sacked still.

You cant blame Fletcher too much for the complacency and arrogance which the Indian batsmen have shown since World Cup win. They never really tried hard to win test matches and they were exposed by good teams.

if you can't blame him , you can never blame any coach in any sport in the world :cantstop:

if you can't blame him ' date=' you can never blame any coach in any sport in the world :cantstop:[/quote'] He is part of the problem, not ' the problem'...he has no say in selections...can do the best with what he has and his issue is the ongoing issues just got worse under him and he has to take the blame for that. But he doesn't wield the same power as Flower,Whatmore,Otis Gibson etc

After seeing India under this fat piece of lard I would take Greg Chappell as a coach in a heartbeat
