Same for both teams and not a minefield. Not sure what fuss is all about, juts cos different from other pitches in other countries. It TESTS differnet skills from a lot of other pitches, lets see who is up for this TEST We dont complain when go to england and trees growing on a length. I repeat pitch is same for both teams. Let the best team win

Read the my posts. Maybe your grasp of english is not as good as non english people. Where have I made excuses for our loss. In fact i found our performances pathetic and we need to adapt to anything. My point goggly is that england cant complain about varied indian pitches when we dont complain about pitches we get. As we(well i do) dont crticise pitces overseas wether green or red but criticise team for not adapting. By the same token moaners like you should not complain about indian pitches and instead bemoan your team if they fail to adapt etc Remeber pitch is same for both teams.

Thats why you moan about indian pitches as you want them to be like english pitches, bit weird as you arein india. I agreee that this is an awful pitch, but i would disagree when you say that the previous 3 pitches were not upto the test standards, these pitches comes as a tradition to subcontinental conditions. Like an headingley where you would know that the ball would swing n seam, similarly a kolkata and mumbai pitch would always have turn and bounce, so it reckons that you take it or leave it.

Myths and legends. 3 test matches , 3 results. WTF you on about. So you have never been to headingley when its swinging and seaming everywere. Nothing in it for batters or spinner but then you say nothing but thats its a great challenge. You are typical old school pom. Not actually understanding cricket and thinking its all about ashes and the type of pitches in eng and aus. You dont like rank turners but like pitches with trees on them. Narrow minded cricket follower, can only appreciate one type of cricket. I love green tops, bouncy track, spinning tracks, low bouncing tracks, slow tracks, fast tracks. Its all good. It is an awful pitch. I wouldn't understand if anyone enjoys watching cricket on a pitch where the ball does not bounce and rolls through to the keeper and there is nothing for spinners. Little reward for good bowling or batting. Zzzzzzzz

Is this a cricket pitch? When you see the score, you would imagine that bowlers are dominating proceedings. But when you watch the match, you see no turn or bounce, no edges, no trouble for batsman and still 9 runs in first half an hour. What's next? Start playing cricket on sand? You can't enjoy anything here. Nothing happening with either batting or bowling. I hope we don't see cricket matches again on such pitches. It would be worse if this match ends in draw with 1000 runs in 5 days.
