Clarke Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Australia have four fast men to rotate and keep fresh during Sri Lanka's innings, along with the offspinner Nathan Lyon. 7 Mitchell Johnson, 8 Peter Siddle, 9 Mitchell Starc, 10 Nathan Lyon, 11 Jackson Bird I likes
Square Drive Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 That wasn't a smart move to play 5 bowlers. Only if we had another specialist spinner.
Square Drive Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Default field setting necessary to get Upul Tharanga;

Square Drive Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 ^ Was no difference today :hysterical: ..or was it 2nd slip this time? :hmmmm:
Square Drive Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 5th match thread is already closed. :wall: I knew we were going to lose from the look of the pitch in the morning. I had to lower the contrast on my TV to see the ball clearly because the pitch area was looking too white when the sun shinning on it.. must have imported from India for this particular match. :giggle: Desperation to nullify Kula and Malinga's swing or what.. :haha: Every country prepare pitches to suit their team and nothing wrong in that. But Aussies and some of the other non-SC countries pretending like they are always for sporty wickets but still doing the same is the laughable thing. Anyways, full credit to Hughes. Get into awkward positions on no. of occasions but still seems to know how to score them. That's what matters in the end. Will be the permanent no 3 for Australia in all formats. Also our great Kula is the player of the series! The greatest swing bowler of our time :hatsoff:
saurabhg Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Guess who was the bowler in this legendary pic :giggle::giggle: http://i.imgur.com/84s3WqN.jpg?1 maybe that'll provide u with some perspective Also our great Kula is the player of the series! The greatest swing bowler of our time :hatsoff:
Mahaa Raavana Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 :yay: The end of another successful overseas tour for the lions..:cheer: A well-fought 3-0 loss in the tests (came extremely close to drawing the first one, snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in the third) Drew the four time world champions 2-2 in their own backyard in ODIs.. Then thrashed them 2-0 in the T20s.. How good are we???:yay:
SLICKR392 Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Poor test series but good comeback in the LOIs. Decent tour for the Loins. :nice:
Square Drive Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Our very very suxedcessful Australian tour ends. :hatsoff: to the lions!

You try to tell me that great Kula bowled for Deccan and got smashed by some Mumbhiyan batsman? Meh.. who cares what happens in the IPL circus :asleep:

Now our next target should be champions trophy final. :two_thumbs_up:
