Guest Hiten. Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Let's not talk about other formats as of now and not make this thread into mudslinging. Again, HAIL THE UVNESS
fineleg Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 me and some others been emphsaizing on this that if India have to win consistantly den Yuvi has to play all the 3 formats ( yes ! Fineleg aka vishkanya' date= test cricket also) :icflove: :hysterical: Test cricket :questionmark: - kooljatt - he needs to play well with the rope given to him in Tests. He gets a long rope in Tests, upto him to convert it.
Guest Hiten. Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Oh god, Kool bruv you just invited Test cricket's ambassador :wall:
kooljatt Posted June 12, 2009 Author Posted June 12, 2009 Oh god' date=' Kool bruv you just invited Test cricket's ambassador :wall:[/quote'] my bad !!!!:haha::haha::haha: :((
Gambit Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 Yuvi's batting was simply orgasmic yesterday. It's a pity he got out at the wrong time against Edwards otherwise he would have taken us to 170.
The Outsider Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 Yuvraj is our T20 mainstay and was in such terrific form even today. I simply cannot understand what Jadeja could have achieved in the middle that Yuvraj wouldn't have. It's not as if we were sending a Dravid instead of Yuvraj - the supposed technique and rotation of strike Jadeja could potentially offer, Yuvraj can do sleepwalking. But kudos to the man for having a tremendous tournament and trying to keep us afloat - at times against all odds and singlehandedly.
umpire Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 another couple of overs from yuvi, we would have been home today.
vvvslaxman Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Congrats Yuvi for topping the table of sixer list. He has hit a 6 every 11 balls. 99 balls 9 sixes.
Anakin Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 And the maverick tactician delayed him as much as possible in each 20 over match. Makes you wonder how much effect he really had in the recent good times as far as the tactical decisions go.

And lets not forget the 'strategy' of not giving some match practice to Raina et.al. in initial stages of the tourny.

Max_Cady Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 lmao if he continues playing for another 5-7 overs he will set india up for 350
The Outsider Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 lmao if he continues playing for another 5-7 overs he will set india up for 350 India will have to play poorly not to get 350 from here. 100 runs off the last 13 overs should be par with 7 wickets left.
Max_Cady Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 yah, if he gets out yusuf pathan next batsman in so 350 is on for sure and dhoni is set now so he is gonna hit big sixes too
