Hur Rizvi Posted December 27, 2012 Author Posted December 27, 2012 Tom Moody is 6'10" too. Wrong according to cricinfo tom moody's height is 1.98m which is equal to 6ft 6" Stop making up things rkt :cantstop:
Vilander Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Some tall people keep growing so it's plausible that he is 7ft now. yeah but he looks 6'10 or less... a 7 foot guys jawline should be above yuvraj singhs head who is around 6' 2.
Hur Rizvi Posted December 28, 2012 Author Posted December 28, 2012 even if he is 6ft 10 in he is the tallest fast bowler ever so whats the fuss all about???
Magneto Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Wrong according to cricinfo tom moody's height is 1.98m which is equal to 6ft 6" Stop making up things rkt :cantstop: Moody is 6"10 the way Irfan is 7"1 :winky:
Hur Rizvi Posted December 28, 2012 Author Posted December 28, 2012 yeah bhai he is tall and sharp would be looking forward to his bowling today as well:two_thumbs_up: yes today will be a bigger test for him, due to flatter pitch and indian batsman would be better prepared.
Magneto Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 SOS to the Great Khali Khali is another guy who's 7"2, but billed 7"4. He can be the waterboy of Team India, and pick fights with Irfan during drinks.
Hur Rizvi Posted December 28, 2012 Author Posted December 28, 2012 Moody is 6"10 the way Irfan is 7"1 :winky: There is confusion about Irfan's height cuz he himself said in an interview that his height is 7"1 but at national academy he was told that he is 6''10 which is more likely to be right but i havent seen a bowler as tall as irfan playing cricket...

Irfan does look 6'10 more than 7'1. Having watched quite a bit of WWF, he looks more like Psycho Sid's height than close to Giant/The Big Show's height. There is of course no doubt that watching a 6'10 guy steaming in is a great amount of fun, and I hope Irfan has a long career in cricket (at least for 3-4 more years).

Hur Rizvi Posted December 28, 2012 Author Posted December 28, 2012 Irfan again bowled beautifully , Due to his height and pace he can be great for our odi and t20 side but to play tests i think he needs to develop more :icflove: 0/20 on ssuch a flat wicket was fantastic effort and loved the way he bowled to yuvi though yuvi destroyed the bowling later...
Iconoclast Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Dead pitch and he was still very hard to play ... PCB would be foolish not to recall him to the ODI squad.
Number Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Dead pitch and he was still very hard to play ... PCB would be foolish not to recall him to the ODI squad. He is gonna wreck havoc in Tests if he can maintain those speeds. Its impossible to play a 7 foot high arm action bowler without getting hurried if he generates pace.

Talent is there but still in tests pace and bounce alone cant help you take wickets you have to set up a batsman. But yes he needs to be tried in tests
Magneto Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Please keep him for the ODIs so that he can pwn Kohli :--D
Baasir Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Irfan has everything in him to be successful at int level. But sadly hes running out of time. Max 3 years.
bhanu Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Please keep him for the ODIs so that he can pwn Kohli :--D missed the match due to some dumb website wrong timer :(( so did he really owned kholi today?? :--D

But yes he needs to be tried in tests He can be used in short bursts and to push batsmen back. While good swing bowler like Junaid operating from the other end can take advantage of that.
Hur Rizvi Posted December 28, 2012 Author Posted December 28, 2012 missed the match due to some dumb website wrong timer :(( so did he really owned kholi today?? :--D No kohli did ok against him but yuvraj was not at all comfortable against him..
trundlerNO1 Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 I think he is a great addition to Pakistan At a slow pitch he was able to get that much bounce against Yuvraj was exceptional.
