Different teams for different formats

It's quite a straightforward concept and most teams seem to have understood it. Even Pakistan understood this during their tour to India where they readjusted their ODI side rather than simply using an unchanged T20 team. Teams like England, SA and Australia do this consistently as well. This is definitely something India are going to have to look into. It's going to allow players some more rest, give experience to more players and allow teams to be better suited to the format they're playing in.

There have to be changes in T20 and test teams and specialists in those formats should be selected. Selectors in India generally pick ODI players for tests and t20.

Nah India have their own system ... Pick the best players in first-class cricket and make them play T20 to prove (a.k.a. screw) themselves and then ODIs and if they're big enough stars in the IPL, they get a Test spot. It's a great system and it's been working a treat so far.

+1 Soon we'll be winning tests in 100 (50*2) overs & ODIs in 40 (20*2) overs, its just a matter of time.
