Don't know why people were saying he's a 140kph bowler. Has bowled 5 overs, hasn't touched 140 yet. Mostly in the 132-136 range. Good accuracy though.

Well not yet. But ahmed is very young and if giving chances and stays in set up, can pimrove massivley. Players improve a lot. Look at junaid, against england in UAE he was dog **** and weakest link in team. Now he is spearheading attack. Thing about ahmed is that fluid, so lloks like wont get injured and can bowl long spells. His FC record suggests this as well

no one improved as quickly as this guy he still has to work on few areas according to his coach he will be handful bowler for us some day

The line and length he bowls is suited more for the longer format. Hope we dont prepare absolute dead tracks vs England. Need to encourage these young bowlers ad give them better pitches.

Shami bowled well but was a bit on the shorter side. His bowling at the death was like most Indian seamers, no yorkers, bowling outgoing deliveries. He may get hit badly on an easier pitch. Also, he was much slower than I have seen him. Maybe he did not go flat out as this was s low scoring match. We have to wait and see. In a nutshell not too impressed although his figures look good today on a very helpful pitch.

To be honest I was disappointed with shami.I Heard he bowls great outswing ,He got rarely any swingwith the new ball.Its his first match so may be he was tensed .He bowled good line and length at 130-137ks.But the pitch was up and down and batsman were not of high quality.
