Dumbbells Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 Come kiss my ass haters. Shammi will do well if he plays.
Jersey #10 Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 When the opponent batsmen are ready to hit him all over the park. As of now, other Indian bowlers have been booked by the opponent batsmen for the job.
saneindian Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 We are playing on a completely new pitch at Kotla. Give Shami a chance.
express bowling Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 Dhoni does not like to try out youngsters. He does not try anything new even when things are not working for him and looks bereft of new ideas.
TestPlayer Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Yeah! Oh wait they are playing Dinda. :giggle: But Dinda will be dropped without giving enough opportunity. They won't select him again.
express bowling Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Harsha was saying that according to Dhoni, Shami has looked very sharp in the nets.
FreakazoiD Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Don't know why people were saying he's a 140kph bowler. Has bowled 5 overs, hasn't touched 140 yet. Mostly in the 132-136 range. Good accuracy though.
King Tendulkar Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Very impressive by shami. So fluid. Good pace and 85 mph and gets swing. Accurate He is like a right handed junaid
King Tendulkar Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Well not yet. But ahmed is very young and if giving chances and stays in set up, can pimrove massivley. Players improve a lot. Look at junaid, against england in UAE he was dog **** and weakest link in team. Now he is spearheading attack. Thing about ahmed is that fluid, so lloks like wont get injured and can bowl long spells. His FC record suggests this as well
Tendulkar_Bhai Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 He looks very good, accurate and bowling in the right areas, remember pak are chasing a low total so he cant go all out with his pace especially as its his first game
khanjee Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 looked good..i was more impress with him than b kumar.. on the other hand, pakistan missed another good opp to try couple of those young guys...i mean really?
Cricket Tragic Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Looks like a decent prospect. However we've seen a few before.
Old guy Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Looks like a decent prospect. However we've seen a few before. no one improved as quickly as this guy he still has to work on few areas according to his coach he will be handful bowler for us some day
Number Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Needs to get a bit more closer to off stump and bowl a foot more fuller in helpful conditions like today.
saneindian Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 The line and length he bowls is suited more for the longer format. Hope we dont prepare absolute dead tracks vs England. Need to encourage these young bowlers ad give them better pitches.
express bowling Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Shami bowled well but was a bit on the shorter side. His bowling at the death was like most Indian seamers, no yorkers, bowling outgoing deliveries. He may get hit badly on an easier pitch. Also, he was much slower than I have seen him. Maybe he did not go flat out as this was s low scoring match. We have to wait and see. In a nutshell not too impressed although his figures look good today on a very helpful pitch.
CG Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 To be honest I was disappointed with shami.I Heard he bowls great outswing ,He got rarely any swingwith the new ball. Its his first match so may be he was tensed .He bowled good line and length at 130-137ks.But the pitch was up and down and batsman were not of high quality.
asterix Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 He bowled well enough so I didn't missed that joke of a jumping jack joker, Dinda.. Hope that Dinda guy never plays any more international matches for India..
