jairamesh Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Raj Thackeray is playing vote bank politics, but when Sheila Dixit blamed migrants for Delhi's crimes that was woeful neglect of her responsibility and failure to keep good housing keeping of national capital. Raj Thackeray's response was hardly a surprise but Shelia Dixit's was callous to the millions of Indians.

If the people in one case where from his neighborhood, would he have brought the matter up? I can understand if in majority of cases rapists where from Bihar, but thats not the case

There is a reason why the word ' Bihari ' is equivalent to a " Gaali ' these days. Many politicians in Punjab have also blamed the Biharis for causing problems in their state and have run anti-bihari campaigns , same with Assam , even Sheila Dixit has said the same thing. All this cannot be a coincidence.

If the people in the leadership positions (one of the pre-requisite to be able to drive mass-level changes) continue playing blame games, instead of assuming responsibility and taking constructive steps... it is wise to just take care of yourself & family, and just ensure good education (values, and not just literacy) for your kids, near/dear ones and take necessary precautions for their safety wherever possible/required.
