Magneto Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Because of him ? He did not play his part ? It is after all a team game. Did I blame him?
King Tendulkar Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Did I blame him? Well yes you seem to in your trolling attempt of a post. He was superb in SA and NZ. You should shower him with praise, instead hammer him pathetic trolling
Magneto Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Yeah and you blame Kohlis batting for that Jeez get a life No QTpie, I did not blame him. India lost both the series eventually, and I said it would be nice if we win some key games. And you get your BP checked.

If india loses one series after the other, I am least bothered. But you go ahead and kiss his feet. :good:
express bowling Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 No point going around in circles. Kohli has improved tremendously as a test batsman. He was always an excellent ODI batter. Wins us a lot of matches. He has some some weaknesses still. That is quite normal. But, he needs to work on those issues. No question about it. I am more worried about his captaincy style than his batting prowess.
Magneto Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Back tracking!! Common sense at last:yay: Lol. I have simply stuck to the same point. Kohli for example had won the CT final for India, and I had praised him for that. Nothing else.

On the contrary, I am okay with his captaincy style. I like the fact that he seems to have the desire, and he will eventually become a good captain. Kohli has improved as a Test batsman, but remember, he has again been ordinary after those two superlative SA knocks. The 100 in NZ is a gift from the umpire. I still think he lacks consistency and I hope he works on that.

Magneto Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Even though his average is going up and up Jeez the constant whining!!! Abey average. Even Vijay's average is going up. Kohli has done zilch in the last three Tests barring that umpire's gift. Why deny the facts?

These things often cancel themselves out. Kohli has scored 119, 96, 46, 68, 104 n.o out of 8 innings. Would not call that lack of consistency especially because they were away tours.

Then it's surely a good run.
