SLICKR392 Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 so its his fault that we are playing at home? and he should be blamed for performing at home :hysterical: No. But it is his fault that he failed in his first 5 Tests. Also' date= his fault that he could do nothing against England and only managed to score in a meaningless Test. And we lost the series. But credit to him for minnow-bashing NZ and boosting his stats. :good: P.S. Since you didn't understand my point, it was supposed to mean that - There's no big deal scoring against ordinary lineups in favourable conditions. This! Wasn't he supposed to pile up runs in the England series according to the pundits here? Failed against Pak and England in the ODI series (where he has been crowned as the best player) in testing conditions. Failed at "home" against quality spinners and bowlers but hey, he scored big against the mighty Kiwis and Loins.
SLICKR392 Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 is this australian side ordinary ? cos if he scores ow i dont want to see u change ur mind afterwards In these conditions, they surely are. Bangbros would have done better.
Magneto Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 is this australian side ordinary ? cos if he scores ow i dont want to see u change ur mind afterwards I just said a few posts above that Pujara has scored in favourable conditions against ordinary bowlers. You really think Doherty/Lyon and Maxwell is a good spin lineup?
Old guy Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 I just said a few posts above that Pujara has scored in favourable conditions against ordinary bowlers. You really think Doherty/Lyon and Maxwell is a good spin lineup? no that was not my point i asked bcos i dont want to waste time if ur jsut gonna say after series that this side sucked.. and all runs are meaningless..nice to know in advance:winky:
JaFanatic Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Pujara is a singles and ground boundaries type player' date=' can only play tests. Kohli can play anything. Also had a Punjabi been on 162 there would have been at least 7 sixes. Pujara is [/quote'] pujara has a better sr than kohli in tests and he is not a typical tuk tuk batsman. when needed he can score as quick as viru :hatsoff:
tatters Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 This is an idiotic thread. Englishman here. Kohli is, by far, the most talented batsman India have. He's a fantastic batsman. Anyone who can't see that obviously doesn't know anything about cricket. Which isn't surprising. Indians are obsessed with the fake twenty20 garbage and have no idea about test cricket.

No, you are not. If Kohli scores a 100, I'll tell my mum to make the pani puri. Other posts might also describe you as a big time Kohli fanboy.

Big words about a guy who averages 28 in Tests outside India. No wonder an ignorant Englishman finds him extra-ordinary. After all, half of the English team is imported from other countries.
Magneto Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 No, you are not. Other posts might also describe you as a big time Kohli fanboy. Good job Slicka!  That sounded like Sabby with another id. :beee:
tatters Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 It's not my fault India's batsmen are **** outside India. He's by far the least *****iest. Top run scorer out of Indians in Australia and he is improving all the time. Absolutely idiotic to slate him right now but that's what you're like aren't you? Bishoom bishoom, phast runs. Silly Indians. Kohli's a player with proper technique - you should be cherishing him if you had any sense.

You just have no clue about Indian cricket or cricket in general. Can't blame you if you have lost interest since your English batsmen are the worst of the lot with you needing mercenaries from other countries to play for you.

express bowling Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Kohli has played just 2 test series outside the subcontinent. He did not play a single test in England. His first series was against a very ordinary West Indies attack on pretty normal tracks, not that bouncy or seaming. His failure there most probably was due to a teething problem faced by many good batsmen, especially as he was debuting in tests after many many ODIs and T20s. He took a bit of a time to acclamatize. He really played well in the last 2 tests in Australia. Not just the 116, 75 and 44 scores but the manner in which he batted against some real pace on bouncy tracks brought out a lot of admiring comments from the opposition. Today, Laxman was talking about the Bangalore test match against NZ. The track had good pace and bounce and the NZ pacers were bowling really well but Kohli scored a ton there. Kohli obviously has a long way to go, He has to prove himself in the next few test series outside the subcontinent but it is difficult to understand how experienced cricket fans fail to spot the potential that he has.
Vivek.S.123 Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 I am Pakistani' date=' Kohli is ****[/quote'] You pakis are taught to hate India in your schools. So I'm not surprised that you hate Kohli
CSK Fan Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Yeah right. Pujara has 4 centuries already in 11 matches, including 2 150+ scores. He averages 69 at the moment. Kohli has 4 in 15, and averages 41 . His average will come down to 36 after 20 Tests. Forget Sachin, he is not even near Kambli presently. And the RAT will not become a GOAT, he'll remain the chindichor RAT only. Wrong, Pujara has 3 150 + scores (one of them was a double hundred)
CSK Fan Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 + Its not about hating Kohli but he is way too overrated here. Why am I replying to myself here?
