Old guy Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 yes it was too short a innings to judge imo. From the reports he seems a classical opener who can see off the new ball without taking too many risks. Can be a very good prospect.Should have been on SA A tour instead of Mooli imo why is everyone after mooli? :cantstop: guy hit 100 after 100 against australia ..lets be honest he will open for us and better we give him lots of practice before series that a team was good i would have just dropped raina ..otherwise it was good team
Lord Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 why is everyone after mooli? :cantstop: guy hit 100 after 100 against australia ..lets be honest he will open for us and better we give him lots of practice before series that a team was good i would have just dropped raina ..otherwise it was good team nah Mooli would still have been my first choice for SA tour, but I dont like this giving practice to established players,A tours should be for new talent imo. Raina and Binny were just total waste for FC matches.Bad thing is Raina scored a ton and now may be in the main team :((
India-KXIP fan Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 why is everyone after mooli? :cantstop: guy hit 100 after 100 against australia ..lets be honest he will open for us and better we give him lots of practice before series that a team was good i would have just dropped raina ..otherwise it was good team Cause mooli is a terrible player Mooli played tests in South Africa, did Mooli cross 50? Answer: No Mooli played 3 tests in WI, did Mooli cross 50? Again NO! Mooli played over 10 ODI's and 5 T20's overseas, did Mooli cross 50? Again no Then failed in CT warm up and still after A tour has only once ever crossed 50, probably edged, dopped catched his way to 60. In 3 FC innings during this tour there was no 50, had one 40+ score where 90% of his runs came against some random SA spinner who probably turned the ball about .2 degrees.
King Tendulkar Posted December 23, 2013 Author Posted December 23, 2013 Another ton for jiwanjot This guy is seriuosly solid opener, solid of back foot. Concentration and stick abilty Not flashy and not one to take game to oppo. But if want very very solid opener who will grind it, see of new ball and set a platform, then this guy is the man. May lack that class element in stroke making though but away from tests could be ideal.
Cricketics Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Century on a tough wicket where not many runs are being scored and against the bowling attack which has restricted opposition to cheap scores here, he has perfomred well. In before people come out and say that pitch has eased up. Give some credit to the dude. He is good.
