Get ready, 2013 will be crucial year for Pakistan. Their elections are coming, economy is almost finished, ethnic violence everywhere, US exit from Afghanistan is close, their media is sold out and clashes with extremist viewpoint, shortage of electricity/LPG/Petrol, their Airlines and Railways are finished. Today it's Pakistan-se-zinda-bhaag not Pakistan Zindabaad. Things are not great on this side of border also, Govt. in power is very unpopular. We have ideological brainwashing going on in India via foreign funded NGOs. It's complete circus on news media channels. All this frustration will finally result in war between arch-rivals, recent tough statements by Army Chief and Air Force chief are clear evident. Pakistan wanted political mileage out of wicked act, but it seems India got opportunity that it was waiting for long long time.

Why don't you do something more useful and go save NZ cricket instead? :woot:
Some questions for you - 1. Do you think Internet is cheap in India? 2. Do you think I am free/idle person? Nothing to do? 3. Don't I have right to use online forum's after paying hard earned money for PC and internet? 4. Why do you hate me? 5. Why can't you ignore me? Is it so tough to co-exist? 6. What can I do to please you? 7. Are my posts offensive to you? If yes then how and why not report it to Moderators? more questions later .....

No chance of war but agree with OP that escalation could happen as this is an election year for Pak Govt. and would like to make an issue with India....

Can someone please ban this clown?
wtf is wrong with you retard.. First look at your face before making personal remarks at him... On topic, this is probably the first time I have noticed western media giving so much attention to this recent firing at LOC.. in Indian media, for last 1 week, top headlines are covered with one of our Generals warning Pakistanis... offcourse, a war not happen might soon but we can't shut down the possiblity of war in near future...

There is the likely possibility of increased infiltration, which if we do not tolerate as we have for quite long, will lead to escalations. The padosis will be upbeat with the US drawdown in Afghanistan. There's also the news of the 'Bad' Taliban negotiating with padosis to point their guns on India.

First the government should remove this non-exclusivity BS regarding J&K. All citizens from India shall be allowed to buy land and live in J&K as they wish. Secondly arm the Balochistan Freedom Movement. Thirdly, why the feck is mon mon singh silent!!! now for over a week on this cross border incident. Can't think of any self-respecting leader to shy away from incidents of such nature like this mute box.
