The Congress Thread: Tracking India's Grand Old Party

Was reading an article by William Dalrymple and this is how he introduced Rahul Gandhi: Jawaharlal Nehru’s great-grandson, Indira’s grandson and Rajiv’s son: the heir to the dynasty that is India’s most striking example of sexually transmitted democracy. Sadly the good looks and family tree appear to be his only assets.

Still no mention about him. This person is very very protected. Either the media, nor Congress members are willing to say anything against him. Rahul is a key reason for Congress failure. Leadership plays a key role in every field.

It is telling, that yet again Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi don't offer an official congratulations to BJP and Modi. Similarly they were silent during recent state elections.
Just hope that Modi targets Sonia/Vadra ruthlessly on all corruption cases.

RG started his speech (if you can call it) with a congratulations to NDA. And in assembly elections too, he congratulated BJP and AAP for winning. While we are being critical,m let us not snub the facts.

Rajiv Shukla has got to be the biggest chamcha of the party. Even today after the results, he was all praises for Gandhi family, on how the Gandhi family will decide the next actions, on how Gandhi family will fix everything in future. Still, there is absolutely no questions on the credibility of this Rahul Gandhi. Imagine if BJP had lost today, all pundits would be putting fault at Modi for that. Why not Rahul Gandhi in this true scenario?

It is taking things pedantic but some courtesy should be shown, like MMS who called Modi. If I remember, during state elections, Rahul only said we can learn from aap and only thanked aap. Anyways small matter, but shows how uncout the Gandhis are
