3 test match series are always more high intensity, 4/5 followed by a 5 match ODI series leaves people not caring about the ODI's and drags. Down under 07/08 was 4 matches but due to the competitiveness and closeness in quality of teams it was the best test series iv EVER watched. The excitement and drama has not been repeated.
