koksmayu Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 According to you technically best batsmen we ( India) had CURRENT BATSMEN OR YESTER YEARS ?
Old guy Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 dravid or tendulkar :P never seen gavaskar so cant really say currently pujara seems to have good technique
PBN Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Sachin Tendulkar or Sunil Gavaskar. In fact, generally Mumabi batsmen are well refined in their techniques. It is likely due to the continous intensive coaching starting at a young age. Then ofcourse there's Dravid with his figure 8 defensive technique.
Ultimate_Game Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Manjrekar. The only problem was that his technique was so good he couldn't score any runs.
Old guy Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Manjrekar. The only problem was that his technique was so good he couldn't score any runs. that means technique was bad :p more than technique its ability to react which matters i have seen kohli and pujara when in form adjusting to swing quickly with there technique..people dont see that..the last minute adjustment .. how many times have we seen dravid opening face of bat and losing grip of bat? i hope we find new dravid and tendulkar cos i miss those days of batting power house :cantstop:

He met a pretty well renowned coach and had a session with him and the coach told Viv to play straight in the V, keep his elbow straight, not play against the line, keep the ball on the ground and so on. At the end of the session Viv told the chap "If I play the way you want me to play I will not score any runs" :haha:
velu Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Dhoni's technique in ODIs is the best ever ODI technique .. :finger: we shld also rank the players based on technique :Rohit

vamos_rafa Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Gavaskar I feel. Dravid, who had a solid technique, has at time struggled against quality attacks(may be poor form). Tendulkar also had a solid technique but he has been more of an aggressor.
