I am not doubting the rankings. I am just saying higher standard performance is expected from a top ranked team but India played mediocre cricket on that England tour. It should had been high intensity series between gladiator teams like the 2004 Border Gavaskar Series in Australia.

yes..but it was expected sooner or later with aging team.. and as corrupt as bcci and indian cricket is its obvious replacing players fairly will take time but in 1-2 years we will start performing again imo ok not about ur point as top ranked team we should have higher standard its true but what im saying is when we wee top team we did played well in all places sooner or later every team falls. our fall is so bad cos of problems of indina cricket like playerl ike jadja,raina getting selected again n agian come on think abt it pujara cant even get into indian odi side which does not has proper openers right now...
