Last Run Out

The other fielder came in the way so Taufel just "assumed" that it was a clean run out.
you would think that if his vision was impeded then he would send it to third umpire. What I'm not going to do is label an umpire as a cheat just because he made a questionable call (like plenty others around here).

MP and Kaboolee87, you guys give fantastic twist to a tale that doesn't exist. You guys assumed these just because some Pakistani forummers couldn't take the defeat. I can clearly assume you guys didn't even watch the last run out. Anyways here is the video with frame by frame. Uthappa was way away from the stumps when the stumps were broken by Sreesanth. In fact Uthappa's legs appear only after the stumps were broken. Your allegations were completely baseless and is based on hearsay. In fact Taufel had a good view and only after he was convinced he gave it out. It was neither a mistake or anything, India deserved to win the game and Pakistan lost it. It's as simple as that.

Its a great close up' date=' but I think the question arises when Santh is dislodging the ball...look at it one more time, his foot his close tot he stump as well; thus the doubt[/quote'] That isn't an issue here Rajeev. First they talked about Uthappa and now we are thinking about the foot. Anyways from the side angle you can see Sree's foot is quite away from the stumps too. When Sree broke the stumps his hand went right between the leg and the middle stump. There is no way anyone can say it wasn't out. As for Uthappa disturbing the stumps, it was wishful thinking and an excuse. I had another look at it and can confirm Sreesanth's left foot hadn't even landed when he broke the stump. There is no doubt in my mind that out was as clean as a whistle.

Yup ravi..after 2-3 looks, it is pretty clean but enough to raise a doubt in a indo-pak clash
