How would this squad do for an away test series? 1. Virender Sehwag 2. Shikhar Dhawan 3. Cheteshwar Pujara 4. Ajinkya Rahane 5. Virat Kohli 6. MS Dhoni (C & WK) 7. Manoj Tiwary 8. Ravichandran Ashwin 9. Zaheer Khan 10. Umesh Yadav 11. Varun Aaron (STARTING XI ^) 12. Abhinav Mukund 13. Wriddhiman Saha (WK) 14. Pragyan Ojha 15. Bhuvneshwar Kumar 16. Shami Ahmed 17. Ambati Rayudu I believe that this team would do much better abroad than the current team that is playing against the Aussies.

Im not talking about the 3 spinners, Im talking about the batting lineup from 1-7. Vijay, Tendulkar, and Jadeja will all fail miserably abroad.

We need to look at other options like Jaffer or Dhawan. Maybe Jiwanjot can be given a go in a home series to judge him. Maybe Rohit can be tried for the opening slot

Jiwanjot could be a option in the future, but its too early right now 4. Rohit is a middle order batsman, he will fail as a opener

Rahane has already opened for India A in the emerging players tournament. He started of his career at mumbai as an opener. In fact even Pujara has opened a couple of times for india.

Too early to say but at this stage I would probably say Rahane / Jiwanjot Rayadu / Jiwanjot Pujara R.Sharma Kohli Tiwary / Rayadu Dhoni © Ashwin Shami Yadav Pankaj Extras in the squad: Saha, Aaron, Ojha, Zaheer, Parvez, S.Kaul
