But he has been batting like a blind man for a few years now, yet is still up the order??? Bizzare! He should be batting 9,10 or 11. Although many of the paks fans strangley want him still up the order, many say he should open. Are they delusional?? Is his spin bowling good enough to warrant a place in the team??

In a country full of blindmen one eyed man is the king. Pakistan doesn't have quality spinner. They are using that an excuse to keep him in the side. He would not be in the probables let alone in the playing XI for most of the countries in the world.

Pak cricket does not wholly rely on his batting but his disgraceful batting v England makes the team's spirit hit the ground. Fielding was shoddy- or rather shocking again and the middle order need to hit more boundaries. Murali and Mendis await on Friday. Need to play much better. Ok, the batting was good in parts and the bowling was excellent but the basics of fielding need to be sorted and the likes of Malik and Misbah need to start hitting bigger than they have been.

Afridi is such ove-rated bowler. He would only find a place in a plate group team if he were in India.

Afridi is done as a batsman. He can score once in a blumoon but still has enough to offer as a bowler. He may not get as many wickets as he did against the clueless Netherlands but he can be economical at least. Last night Netherlands had no clue what shot to play against his bowling. Pakistan owes the game to him and Ajmal. I didn't think 175 was good enough to stop Netherlands.
