Perks of being a 1 ranker were great. You get to be the monitor of class, school n teachers invest in u cuz one day u will be on their newspaper advertisement board, parents would broadcast that their beta is topper hahaha...if u were a nerd, all the uncles/aunties wud whine to their beta/betis to be like u and then u come to NAmerican high schools n universities, where u don't want anyone to see ya grades cuz ppl might start calling u a nerd. U don't talk about studies or any course content after school cuz its uncool Hahaha it's funny how cultures r so different
