Former spinner Shane Warne has advised the Australian Test squad in India to sort out their crisis with alcohol behind closed doors, ahead of the Mohali Test. According to the spin legend, any personality problems in the Australian camp should be sorted by locking the team in a room and helping them relax with music and alcohol, News.com.au reports. Warne said that this will help the squad to get along with each other and discuss their performances to find out ways to improve them in the remaining Tests. Criticising the dropping of Shane Watson, Mitchell Johnson, James Pattison and Usman Khawaja from the third Test, Warne said that 'old school ways' would have been a better way of lifting the performances of Australia, adding that for him, the punishment did not fit the crime. Meanwhile, Warne had whittled down his ideal squad of 18 players he says could help Australia reclaim the Ashes, in his four-part manifesto on Australian cricket, from which he had now axed Phillip Hughes, Usman Khawaja and Ryan Harris to suggest a 15-man short-list, the report added.

Typical Indian media. Having a drink or two to calm yourself and chill out is different from getting drunk. I mean who the hell gets drunk of a single bottle of beer with 5% alcohol?
