Yes, definitely. He was effective even on that Nagpur track where it was very difficult to get wickets. He would have been a handful on that Mumbai pitch with the pace at which he bowls and his accuracy.

True. Add Dhawan-Vijay in place of Sehwag-Gambhir and Jadeja in place of Harby and Rahane in place of Yuvi we would have won.

Since Mumbai 2nd innings he was consistent but did not make it big but he did well when everyone failed.

True. He did make a bit of a "comeback" in the series with 3 50's. Still with his problems in tests over the past two years I would have had Vijay-Dhawan instead. Although instead of him, Sehwag should have been dropped for the Oz series.

Kind of like a dropped Viru went to Oz along with Jaffer-Karthik. Heck, he may even open with VJ instead of Dhawan due to his experience and good record in SA.
