(just asking as i am new to this just a fan was the original mumbai mascot) First come first serve basis. That is the simplest solution.

I would rather play Nechim over Munaf Patel. He's out of touch and seems unfit. The Eden Gardens is apparently a spinners pitch and of the 3 remaining sides, we've the worst spinners. Do we even have any part time spinners?

Do we even have any part time spinners? we have tried yuzvendra chahal (who is a leg spinner and i believe played in the match at eden gardens) Part time option is Rohit Sharma himself. The plus for us is that RR dont have any spinners. With Chandalia and Chavan out. Tambe appears to be the only option as Dravid seems reluctant to play Harmeet. The main weakness for mumbai though, is that chasing seems to be a big issue. Win the toss and bat. and thankyou for the vote on confidence. :hatsoff:

Plus a mascot hands out match thread for home matches. That is unilateral action MI fans or not. Ie he/she decides something on his/her own. Asterix dada i believe is in the UK. I dont think he was online at 8:30am. No point sending a PM when i would not be there to respond to it. Same for M2C. I dont think any other Mumbai fans were online or active in this thread at that time. You could have shared with anyone on the board except Sidhoni because he was the one we voted against. So it made the voting useless. And its not about you being mascot, if the voting had been for anyone else (non-mascot) and he had done the same, it would have been the same. Plus I dont think sharing password is allowed on the site You speak derisively of people campaigning (yes it was not months of campaigning) but the fact is people actually took the effort to vote for you. I was not one of them who campaigned but some posters went out of their way to do that and to keep Sidhoni out. Please don't take that for granted like this

What people are saying (and I agree with them) is that many people (Sabby, myself, Slickr, Lord, MTC, Saurav etc) spent a lot of time and effort into making sure that G_B won the rights to make that thread. Winning the rights meant that he (or a Mumbai fan) would be making the thread but after winning he shared it so the entire point of so much effort being put into making him win was lost - thats what people are complaining about.

It was just a freaking match thread for god's sake! The match is over, MI have lost, thread is archived. What is the point of complaining now? What What What?
