FischerTal Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 http://www.cricketcountry.com/cricket-articles/Cheteshwar-Pujara-to-miss-some-IPL-2013-matches-for-Bangalore/24452 I for one am happy that he is not going to play IPL a lot. Get well soon Che.
saneindian Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Good for Chintu. Needs to keep working on adding more strength to his knees Read somewhere that despite his injury, KP will pocket his IPL match fees. Hope the same holds true for Chintu as well.

FischerTal Posted March 25, 2013 Author Posted March 25, 2013 :(( although i trust sandeep patil to make wiser decisions than Kris Srikant. he had the guts to get viru and gg out.
gaurav92 Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 He stays away from IPL :yay: He will remain a fine Test player for us hopefully
G_B_ Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 its worrying he is picking up these injuries at such a young age. I am happy he is missing the IPL and that he can rest etc. But it is still very worrying.
Trundler27 Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 This guy needs to get his mcl and acl (ligaments) checked out by a specialist as an ACL tear will never heal itself and needs proper specialized surgery.... These nfl and nba players get super treatment for such devastating injuries and comeback as good as new with very rare recurrence..... cricket players don't usually encounter such injuries and i worry that his bad knee is not getting diagnosed properly to ascertain the proper treatment.... he aggravates his knee in every other match or during nets and warm-ups... wth!!
carnish Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 IPL is a 7.5 weeks event. He will play 4.5 weeks meaning more than 9 games. So its good.
G_B_ Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 india should take him for the champions trophy the key question is will RCB play Pujara? I am looking at their team and with Dilshan Gayle and Kohli De Villiers at 1,2,3,4 the real question is will Pujara get into this team?
