Was ZK fit and available for Ind-Aus Test series?

Was ZK fit and available for Ind-Aus Test series? If so, was he dropped from test squad despite fully fit? For the likes of Dinda!?? Despite his poor form, ZK >>> Dinda and Ishant?? ZK skill level with new and old ball in Indian conditions is vastly superior to Dinda and Unlucky Issaant sharma I thought he was not fit to last 4 Tests, and hence RESTED for injury?? Not dropped from squad?

I don't think so, I think he was injured during the series and was not fit anyway. Plus give credit to the bowling lineup in the Tests, I think our bowlers were much better than an old, deteriorating Zaheer in this series. I would rather keep this lineup than include Zaheer.

Yes, if there was an urgent requirement or old panel of selectors, then he would have forced into the side for last 2 tests .

ok, coz in IPL forum, Sidhoni and rkt were saying ZK was fit for Ind-Aus I remembered reading ZK was not fit and he was still recovering. Of course magically everyone will be fit for IPL. Thats a different story.

He was dropped for the 4th test vs Eng and the subsequent ODI and T20 series we played. Don't think he was fit for Ind-Aus, was troubled by a calf injury.

Did you forget, he was dropped from the mid England test series? He was not injured then. He played Ranji after that and got injured while playing Ranji match for Mumbai and he was supposed to be fit for last 2 tests according to the reports.

RKT he is still struggling to be fit so obviously even for last 2 tests he wasn't fit. In anycase, even a fit Zaheer wouldn't have mattered much. A 'fit' Zaheer could do nothing vs England. Going by his recent pictures, looks like he has given up on his international career.

Zaheer is done. Forget about him. Even some fit fast bowlers have found it difficult to continue beyond 33-34, so Zaheer has no chance.

He wasn't fit for whole series but I reckon he was fit for last 2 test matches but they might have rested him as we were leading 2-0.
