G_B_ Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Each team needs different types of players. I thought Rahane and Dravid did a good job after the first wicket. RR simple failed to exploit the last 5 overs while they had a good amount of wickets in hand. Probably 20 runs short on this pitch. Having said that Sreesanth and Harmeet has been poor with their bowling.

If the other hand had an explosive hitter , Dravid could have played the sheet anchor, but Rahane was pretty much doing the same thing on the other end. these 30-40+ scores which come at run a ball are gold in ODIs but kill the team's chances in T20s

He did exactly what his role was which is to lay a strong platform. They were 81-1 at 11 overs but simply collapsed. And Dravid cannot be blamed for that. But Rahane is a genuine concern as he looks out of form completely
