asterix Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 Not played cricket for long time but comes in and bats as if he never retired, putting into shame some overhyped contemprories... Mad respect... :hatsoff:
SLICKR392 Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 Brilliant, brilliant stuff from him. No cricket for almost an year and WOW! As usual did not go for the milestone..tried to smash it when he was on 49 with lot of overs left.
Old guy Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 :hatsoff: man i will always miss dravid in indian team..will always be my all time favorite player :yay:
CSK Fan Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 Very good innings, but who are the over-hyped contemparies whom you are refering to?
Old guy Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 Very good innings' date=' but who are the over-hyped contemparies whom you are refering to?[/quote'] arre yar dont take everything so seriously :) people are like this..its bad phase so u can expect things like this. but on form dravid looked better then some guys in team:giggle:
G_B_ Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 it was a fantastic innings started slow and then started to really open up. Timed his innings perfectly.
Sidhoni Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 Just amazing! I feel he can do a better job than some of the better known names in the team right now. :winky:

If he was talking about Sachin, he was in good form yesterday, in fact Dravid started much slower today
Old guy Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 Just amazing! I feel he can do a better job than some of the better known names in the team right now. :winky: chal chodd...we got pujara in place of him :D honestly back then i wanted dravid to go before tendu.. tendulkar looked much better in australia then him
Old guy Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 But what bad pahse? If he was talking about Sachin' date=' he was in good form yesterday, in fact Dravid started much slower today[/quote'] like i said dont take these things to seriously its just a light comment u know asterix dont u ? :)
Sidhoni Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 chal chodd...we got pujara in place of him :D honestly back then i wanted dravid to go before tendu.. tendulkar looked much better in australia then him Yeah Tendu looked much better in Aus. But that didn't mean Dravid should've left. But still, just shows the team man he is. :hatsoff:

But still' date=' just shows the team man he is. :hatsoff:[/quote'] he thought he was not good enough anymore and gave up cricket.. yep thats the type of person he was... but he was by far our best batsman in england but like i said leave it... its good for me.. i want tendulkar to do the same to go out with some form and good performances instead of struggling.. i have said this several time best time to go is when people miss ya the most :D
G_B_ Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 One thing which dravid did do i remember on the tour of england was drop key catches in the slips. he has dropped another one today
Laaloo Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 The only reason he scored so much was because paki bowlers werent playing :beee:
SLICKR392 Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 But what bad pahse? If he was talking about Sachin' date=' he was in good form yesterday, in fact Dravid started much slower today[/quote'] He started off slow because he was out of action for more than an year unlike Sachin. Scoring 60+ for a players like in T20 after such a long break is an outstanding effort.
Number Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 Disagree, it was a flat patta. Batted till 19th over with a S/R of 127. Nothing special.

Scoring 60+ for a players like in T20 after such a long break is an outstanding effort. Yes, but what was the need for the comparison with Sachin? In 18 balls Sachin was 23 runs when he was run-out while looking in good touch. Dravid wass 17 from 18 balls

Coming back with no cricket behind him and the pitch was a low if you might wanna look into it again. Even Warner was going dead slow.
