But India just could not afford to remove any of the pacers from the attack as each run was important. By the time 40 overs gone India exhaused quota of all seamers. After a long discussion ball was tossed to Sachin. Windies needed only 6 runs to win with 1 wicket and 10 overs. Dismissed him when the scores were level. "Poetic Justice At Perth" This was the headlines next day on the news paper.
