G_B_ Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 it should happen in India. I think even the secutiy agencies now have more experience in hosting the IPL matches. If not it will be SA. Cant see anywhere else.
saneindian Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Will not have any impact. IPL 7 will be played in India
someone Posted April 13, 2013 Author Posted April 13, 2013 2009 was different because of the recent Bombay attacks - unless something like that happens in the coming year IPL will be played in India. Although that is a valid point. But honestly, India is still as much vulnerable as 4 years back.
BeautifulGame Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Radical thought - USA? :hysterical: Would be the worst place. No quality grounds , awful time zone etc
jairamesh Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Maybe split between Singapore, hong kong, Malaysia, Mauritius, though will struggle with decent crowds It will also allow the dodgy IPL billionaire tax evaders to meet up with their bank managers
Crookbond Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 :hysterical: Would be the worst place. No quality grounds , awful time zone etc There are some for others give them time and check what they do. Time zone is a problem but if done rightly it can be a good place.
Crookbond Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Maybe split between Singapore' date= hong kong, Malaysia, Mauritius, though will struggle with decent crowds It will also allow the dodgy IPL billionaire tax evaders to meet up with their bank managers Dude! You can't have IPL in HK, Singapore or Malaysia. The number of grounds in India is more than the number of railway stations in Singapore. :giggle:

IPL is quite different than U19. Singapore and HK can't even be listed as potential venues.
Tiger-Don Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 isnt there a whole new auction for this ipl? like every team has to change their players or something?
