BetelLeafHater Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 betel leaf seller aka dinesh karthik is another waste too.i am sure mumbai is going to lose their brightest chances of entering into the playoffs in the near future because of this waste betel leaf seller.

G_B_ Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 we need more teams in the IPL. what the bcci should to is have 15 teams, each paying $5 million a year to them at a flat fee and spending $10 million on wages for 22 players (max 10 foreign players) and 5 support staff. Total spending for each franchise should come down to about $17-$18 million a year. 5 foreign players and 6 indian player per team. With a minimum payment of $100,000 for any player be it local or international. What you have currently is an unequal distribution of resources with big teams blocking out many potential talents. You look at somebody like Morgan, he sat out the entire ipl i believe last season and has done very well this season. Punkaj singh for me has been the biggest issue of this IPL. Or even somebody like Dhaval Kulkarni who just does not get the chances in Mumbai due to a strong bowling attack. I am sure that Dhaval would find a starting place (atleast initially) in a 15 team format. By adding 5 foreign players you also ensure that the quality of the IPL is not dipping and 90 Indians still play at a relatively high level instead of the current 63. Drop the home and away format and play 7 games at home and 7 games away. I am sure that places like A'bad , Surat , Nagpur, Ranchi, Indore etc, places with airports and new stadiums can fit into this category. They can also make a second attempt at Kochi and even Goa as they too have the infra.

MCcricket Posted April 16, 2013 Author Posted April 16, 2013 Just re affirms my belief teams are wasting talent and picking hacks, see what Gony, Shukla did.
MCcricket Posted April 16, 2013 Author Posted April 16, 2013 Ramesh Powar is not getting a game he bowls very slow off spin n flights the ball so a liability in t20 also not fit and domestic cricket he could bat but like Agarkar bunny with the bat at next level.
Texan Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Iqbal Abdullah is a very surprising omission considering he has a fantastic record in the IPL.
