I don't betel leaf itself is harmful to health. It is the tobacco leaves and the lime that they put in it, that makes it dangerous. Sweet paan for example is harmless, I think. I am just surprised that betel leaf sellers are allowed in the stadium, though! What next, gola-stands? Pani-puri sellers?
