Bumper
Oh Donny, India has been inspiring lesser teams to beat them for generations.:haha: Link to comment

Holysmoke
The point is that every time a team faces up to this team' date=' they immediately raise their game. Teams know that nothing less than 110% effort would suffice if they are to contemplate a victory against this Aussie side. Notice how India kept fighting, even after it looked like a lost cause. That is the kind of intensity teams need to summon in order to beat Australia.[/quote'] QFT Link to comment
Donny
Boorish & uptight ? Nice piece of projection, Bheemby. You think it's ok to justify your rants with the "I say it as I see it" excuse but you apply a completely different standard to me. Many of history's egomaniacal dictators use the same sort of hypocricy. Link to comment
Cricketics
come on folkz, donny said "India's wonderful victory has again reminded us all of the value Australia is to the great game. Other teams really have to play out of their skins to prevail against them " i mean whatz wrong with that??? thats all frank and truth whatever he said.... Australia is really a gr8 thing to cricket.... why so much celebrations when India defeated aus yesterday?? just because aussies are the world champs and still are and defeating them was a big thing.... he praised his country, and the comments about australia were all true.. they play a big role thanks donny Link to comment

simba28
Blind to anything but aussie name.. how can u say aussies triumph after lossing.. they are a great team but they dint do India a favour and let them win.. India won it by themselves.. Stupid title showing the arrogant aussie attitude.. Link to comment
fineleg
Misleading thread title otherwise good post ! Agree. Very misleading title in the aftermath of India's win. The post is alrite, but the title seems to indicate an attitude which is causing the altercations. Link to comment
Ram
They've done it again. The Aussies inspire lesser teams and that's good for the game. A fairly ordinary England won the '05 Ashes, SA chased 430 odd in a one dayer and got them, the Black Caps always lift a couple of gears when they see the green and gold approaching and both Bangladesh & Zimbabwe have risen to great heights to knock off the champs. This para has a very condescending tone about it, almost as if the opposition are at the mercy of the Australians. Sure , no denying that the Aussies are a good team , but to project as though they are the Gods of cricket is a bit over the top. And the logic a bit confusing too. If the opposition wins , the Aussies inspired them. But if they lose ( which happens a lot) , does that mean the Aussies dont inspire them then ? Confusing. Just seemed a lame attempt to sing the praise of Aus in an otherwise bad time for them. Thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the post though. Link to comment
King Tendulkar
Your boys got a pasting. In 20/20 terms you were destroyed. You had a chance tyo win and choked saffie style. You better get used to these types of loses as with some of the players you have in the team these types of losses are going to become a lot more regular Link to comment
Donny
mm, you're confused because of your (stated) reasoning. Not mine. Link to comment
Anakin
I'm sure OZs will triumph more in the coming years sans McWarne Link to comment
Gambit
I agree when Donny says that it takes something special to beat Aus. Have seen that happen time and again. Winning against Australia requires teams to play at 100% of their potential and leaves them totally drained. I think Aussies are going to start losing a fair bit of tests now that McWarne(the greatest bowling duo ever) is gone. Link to comment
