This incident has nothing to with the competition type, and if you believe so, might just ban every cricket as corruption has proved there as well. More importantly, RR is in a tricky situation. I am sure the noises will rise again and BCCI will look to remove RR like they tried and failed 2 years back. Actually, RR might even miss the playoffs this season. Thus, please let's not try to bring a lot of unnecessary connections. what has team got to do with it if tournament does not?:winky:

Currently, with the given information, it all seems to be some assumptions. And why was still investigated so selectively? Why only these set of players were watched? Where was the consistency? I guess given the reasons they mentioned like signals, every IPL match needs to be analyzed and even more players should be questioned. It doesn't look conclusive at all really.

IPL organization committee will look to blame something, they are not gonna blame themselves. So the blame will eventually go to the team, the captain, and the supporting players. That's very unfortunate really. Thus, as mentioned, the future of RR is a concern as well especially when BCCI had already tried to remove them once.
