rkt.india Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 then what about bowlers like Marshal' date='Donald, etc who proved to be so successful in India?[/quote'] Even Ishant has had patches of brilliance on on Indian pitches. It is not like Indian pacers have not done well on Indian pitches. From Srianth, Kapil to Zak, Ishant, Sreesanth, Munaf, Yadav all have or had some sterling performances on Indian tracks but it is difficult to maintain consistency and do it day in and day out.
rkt.india Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Pakistani society favors and looks up to fast bowlers.. unlike ours. Their secret bottle caps. What happened to their pacers now?
India-KXIP fan Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 :two_thumbs_up: Good talent, other fast bowlers around him like Waqar and Stetn see his tailunt I guess. Explains why he's played 50 tests with poor record. Hope he becomes good sooner rather than later though :whack: itt: SS wooden spooners are making predictions on who will perform or fail in SA. :hehe: I say Ishant will do well there, hope he makes the XI. Unless Zaheer proves he can do the job still for one more series.
Ahmed Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Their secret bottle caps. What happened to their pacers now? What do you mean? Don't forget that Pakistan have to very fine bowlers banned and if they were not banned you would not have heard much about Junaid Khan and Mohammad Irfan. (PS! not defending their acts, only saying if the were not cheats they would have been playing now) Despite of losing two bowlers, Pakistan still have Junaid,Irfan, Gul and Wahab Riaz (though he is inconsistent). And there is a line of bowlers waiting for their turn but the competition is simply too tough; Asad Ali Ehsan Adil Rahat Ali Mohammad Aftab Sadaf Hussain Jamal Ahmed (one of the quickest bowlers in Pakistan) Zia ul Haq Nasir Malik Bilawal Bhatti Sarmad Anwar Umaid Asif Anwar Ali + + You can check the domestic record of these players and you'll know what I mean.

Yes, throw around a bunch of no name domestic bowlers and proclaim them as great bowlers. Typical Pakistani over hyping. Umar Gul averages 34 in tests and he is a mediocre bowler. What does that say about your fast bowling resources when you still have Gul in your side ? Mohamad Irfan, Junaid and rest of Pakistan bowlers were miserable in favorable conditions in SA. What happened to your fast bowlers there ? :hysterical:

Gul has been mediocre for quite a while in tests, not just in the last year. Dont overhype bowlers before they have played enough cricket and performed consistently. For all the bragging you do, you have very little to show.

vandokkum Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Do you guys really expect players to make negative comments about Indian cricketers considering a major portion of their income comes from the IPL? Ishant sharma is pure trash, pravin kumar with his 120kph bowling would get in a team ahead of Ishant any day of the week. He was the only guy who showed some heart during the miserable tour of England
