His connection rate was amazing. Clean striking. This is where the important of singles come in. CSK took 62 singles. MI took 41 singles. CSK had mere 25 dot balls MI had 50 dot balls. Others failed to capitalize.

I think there was stat somewhere which showed that over 50% of all deliveries faced by Smith were dots. That said he has become fitter over the past month.
