vvvslaxman Posted May 28, 2013 Author Posted May 28, 2013 we will see. i dont think our current batting is that bad that we will score 49 or less. if u insist on dhoni at 7, then you need someone like a rohit/rahane at #6, but dhobi's support will go to jadeja :hatsoff: Jaddu outside India will be as good as going with 10 guys..as his batting will be useless. bowling will be ineffective. Irfan will be a better choice. Considering the reasonable batting skill of Bhuvan and Ashwin India can include Irfan as a batsman. No matter how we see India is traditionally batting oriented side. Their strategy is mostly batting the opposition out of the game. We rarely bundle sides out below 200 . So i suspect India will include an all rounder.

Sidhoni Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 you are assuming that dhobi is the best test wicketkeeper. as far as keeping skills go' date= saha is better. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
Sidhoni Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 my personal opinion is dhoni will become a better batsman home or abroad if he gives up keeping. he is the best puller in the indian team' date= he can score many runs by just being a #6 batsman. too much workload now for himhttp://www.indiancricketfans.com/showpost.php?p=2358724&postcount=738 Troll alert :sherlock:
Raghav_12 Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 So' date=' Dhoni didn't give a feck when the team was getting b!tch slapped during the 0-8, but started scoring runs after Amarnath made his comments? Is that the point of this thread? [/quote'] :hysterical::hysterical: For Dhoni, leading india team is not enough motivation, he needed goading from Mohinder Amarnath. :haha: A person who is so low on motivation himself should be allowed to lead the team?
adi B Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 I guess all these scores were made abroad.. :hatsoff: :haha:
CSK Fan Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Fan-boys out in full force. Sad, they were at least confined to IPL forum while that lasted

Debutant Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Still nobody answered the question and are just going round and round. Let me rephrase it again - PLEASE NAME A BETTER WICKET-KEEPER BATSMAN THAN DHONI FROM INDIA. Ps: This thread lacks rational. To tell that somebody started performing just because he was criticized by another person is hilarious

someone Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 In the T20s me thinks KKD might do a better job. Might is the key word and really it means nothing. In reality, there is no one who is more proven than Dhoni and Dhoni himself is in good form. He definitely does not deserve the scrutiny atm for all formats.
Debutant Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Who said that? Me offcourse. I don't think you need any other scientific proof :beee:
Debutant Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 In the T20s me thinks KKD might do a better job. You are not even sure about T20(least played by international teams). What is your opinion about ODIs and Tests ??
Por Favor Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Dhobi certainly isn't one :giggle: Top Three Batsmen - TEST England Player Mat Inn NO Runs HS Ave BF SR 100 50 R Dravid 4 8 2 461 146* 76.83 965 47.77 3 0 SR Tend 4 8 0 273 91 34.12 520 52.50 0 2 MS Dhoni 4 8 1 220 77 31.42 406 54.18 0 2 btw he captains n keeps I will concede MSD had a bad TEST series in Australia - he played only 3 matches. Mohinder wud come out of his closet n concede publicly that MSD proved him wrong.....!!
Por Favor Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 In the T20s me thinks KKD might do a better job. Are you serious..... :hysterical:

They are two different types of batsman. MSd and KKD.

G_B_ Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 I am content with Dhoni in the ODIs. He has been the best Indian player there. But even his die hard fans have to concede that he has a poor international t20 record. Quite frakly i lost a bit of respect for Dhoni in this year's IPL. In the 3 matches v Mumbai CSK lost he sent the likes of Jadeja and Ashwin ahead of him. That reeks of cowardice.
