vishalvirsingh Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 as the Name suggests - I intend to open this for the speed, performance , talk about lin n length, pitching, Swinging capability of INDIAN and other Medium pacers and fast bowlers and trundlers....Try to rate the performance of the indian fast bowlers and medium pacers VS the other fast bowlers and medium pacers.......... I urge all of you to be true and not CRITICAL of INDIAN fast bowlers/trundlers at least...be postive and optimistic in your response...be critical of what u r sure that this is what he is not doing good.... we need to be soft on our comments on fast bowlers.. fast bowling is tuf and we need to know that a NICK can get a bowler a wicket and can also be hit for a 4 where as from a fast bowlers perspective it is the same ball.......so one needs to see it that way... a fast bowler who creates opportunities should be apreciated...

Speed helps the most in 5 days where one feels helpless seeing slow bowlers Being easily defended and scored.....fast bowling some times Gets one out of control and fetches wickets Spinners need turning wickets to suceed I doubt whether they will suceed in england

sherpatenzig Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 I fail to see the obsession of Pakistan cricket fans with their fast bowlers. A delivery here or there does not make a fast bowler. End of the day Indian fast bowlers will do better than your. What matters is winning and nothing else.
Gunner Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Wahab riaz is faster than Umesh Yadav Only in your Wet dream. Wahab is 10 to 15 kmph slower than Umesh. If you don't believe me you can see it for yourself in the upcoming Champions Trophy. Yadav's pace ranges from 145k to 153k whereas Wahab's is 135k to 140k and he's going to be ass-whooped by Kohli again.

Malcolm Yadav/ Sami etc are quicker than Steyn.. there are maybe one or two express phast bowlers among ATG bowlers... if pace really mattered then akhtar would be better than marshall and mcgrath..

Umi still needs to become more consistent and bowl more full length

I always find these kind of threads funny; how many express bowlers have we produced in the last 50 yrs ? so why this obsession with pace when we know their arent any.
