They keep rotating the same group of batsman over and over again. They get dropped cos they are rubbish and then get recalled cos the ones who replaced them do rubbish. This is some kind of myth that selctors are screwing them, they dont seem to be doing this with pak bowling, thats because pak bowling is actually good. They have no opener, shows how bad it is when paki above says umar akmal should open, now you see why farhat, toffe umar , nazir and co are tried again and again. There is no one else!!! The talent is not there. There are no great players to come in. Umar Akmal proven failure is now being hailed as saviour to come back. He will play for one year, do pants, then knives out for him and replaced by same failures he replaced. You do not have good batsman pakis. Get over it!!! Players not there!!! Even the best two jamshed and misbah are ordinary as always have pants strike rates. They cant rotate strike and either bloke or thump. Pakis seem to think they have some automatic right to be the best. If they are not the best and lose, then its cos match was fixed or slectors not picking best batsman cos of favouritism. When in reality its cos they are not good enough.

We have better batsman than India, Ahmed shazad, umar amin, haris sohail, umar akmal, jamshed, umar waheed, babar azam, shoaib maqsood, sharjheel khan are all good batsman but only 2 are in the current squad and one of them is not given a consistent run.

The fact you are metioning umar akmal as one of these world beaters who should have played and would have been awesome, sums up the plight you are in with the batting

Always have to remove minnows with Pakis. These guys play a lot of them. They are the only guys who have series with Ireland, Scotland, Afghanistan etc.

ganeshran Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 While Umar Akmal is no prodigy , I fail to see how he is kept out of the team when the rest of the batsmen are so poor. His selection should have been a no brainer That being said, I fully expect Malik and Jamshed to come good against India
