King Khan Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Never thought Imran Khan could also choose politics as a retirement career after such hypocritic past. I guess all politician are corrupt in mind from the start to get into politics.

zep1706 Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 I may be in the minority here.........but he deserved to get banned for it........indubitably..... I share your opinion. Intentionally or not he clearly made a mistake. If he was really cleaning the ball as they claimed at that time, he should have asked the umpires before doing so. But at the same time I have a major issue with the inconsistency of ICC rulings. You would hardly ever see English and Aussie players getting punished for this kind of thing. I am against the double standard. Broad should have been punished for stepping on the ball in South Africa.
kubrickian Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 What's so new about this ? Pakistan bowlers like Wasim, Waqar, Imran did tamper the ball to get reverse swing. Even Wasim Akram admitted he tampered the ball.
jalebi_bhai Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 i didnt say you were wrong. i am just saying now wait for MTC and Outy to go :fight: MTC.............actually......you know what......aane do.....I know I am not wrong.....

sherpatenzig Posted June 16, 2013 Author Posted June 16, 2013 It is shame to drag Sachin in this. He was not a pace bowler and all he did was leg cutters. If anyone wants to discuss that they can open a new thread. Focus of this thread is the cheating culture of pakistan cricket and our concern for their well being.:giggle:
CSK Fan Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 I may be in the minority here.........but he deserved to get banned for it........indubitably..... For cleaning the seam? There is no ban rule for cleaning the seam without permission unless you want a ban just because he is Sachin. Again is this the level to which Sachin bashers have fallen here?
CSK Fan Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 :(( now ull get hounded Dude I am really sick and tired of you guys attitude on this forum. Hounded and you guys? Most people here have been incessantly picking on every small thing about Sachin for a while now. No one can dare say one good thing on this forum about Sachin nowadays without you guys completely coming in and blasting those things to bit. There is no word of praise for Sachin on these forums for a long time and if it is, it is criticized heavily. And on the other hand, there are many, many troll posts criticizing him almost everyday, from IPL, to his 100 to whatever is the latest flavor. Point me to a couple of positive posts/threads about him. I can point you to countless negative ones And after all that, you actually have the gall, to come and say you are the ones being hounded? Just because one or two Sachin supporters actually try to stem the negative flow and defend him? An Indian legend on an Indian forum? Really, is that how low you guys have stopped? Nope, its Sachin and his fans who are hounded here for a while now
maniac Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 I think Amir Sohail went a little far there but definetely, imran helped the pak team by discovering some fine talent but not pak cricket which are 2 different things. I guess his style of going about making desicions despite the presence of PCB defines pak as a nation as they always seem to prefer dictators and autocratic leaders over a democratic government in this case PCB
jalebi_bhai Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 For cleaning the seam? There is no ban rule for cleaning the seam without permission unless you want a ban just because he is Sachin. Again is this the level to which Sachin bashers have fallen here? It is not his job to clean the seam......he is a fielder.......if there was something to be removed from the seam....he could've and should've asked the umpire to do so....it is only but common sense...there is a ban rule for tampering/altering the ball.... It is not about bashing Sachin.......it is more about not displaying double standards and being objective.......this cleaning the seam is a non-sensical excuse.....delude yourself how much ever you want...... PS: KW must be pissing himself after pitting us against each other......kameena.....
sherpatenzig Posted June 16, 2013 Author Posted June 16, 2013 There is a visible difference between what Sachin did and Imran did. Imran was part of culture of cheating whereas Indian cricketers have not been accused of such. If anyone feels like starting a Sachin thread it is fine but the focus here is Imran.
