velu Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Looks nothing like me. Can you guys follow on twitter and like on fb? I will also attend India games wearing this do u have facebook page for ur character ?? also r u comfortable wearing this costume for the whole day ??
hassan_113 Posted June 19, 2013 Author Posted June 19, 2013 Velu, It is actually really uncomfortable initially. Not the best to walk around in but you get used to it. The Facebook page is "Pakistani lantern" which I encourage people to like. It suggests the Pakistani lantern is a passionate cricket fan since 7. Loves Pakistani cricket and also supports Indian cricket. Some pics from here are on there. Twitter: @paklantern Facebook: Pakistani lantern
Vilander Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Cheeky! I am not free for semi or final or I would've gone to support India. Then again I'm half Kashmiri- so in the Indian camp, I would be classified as half-Indian (or by fans here). then why are you supporting pak ?
hassan_113 Posted June 19, 2013 Author Posted June 19, 2013 then why are you supporting pak ? Troll alert! Pakistan are my first team which is where dad is from. India is my second team based on my experience of working and living there and travelling around India and my Indian friends and passion for cricket. A lot of Kashmiris support Pakistan in cricket (this is not a cue to turn this into politics) I also like India: for the reasons above.
hassan_113 Posted June 23, 2013 Author Posted June 23, 2013 I'm enjoying the festivities today with an Indian top underneath the green lantern. Dancin in the hall as there's no play. Where's Sarkar?
Crookbond Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 then why are you supporting pak ? He is free to support any team he wants to and doesn't need to have a sound reasoning for that.
mastana Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 I'm enjoying the festivities today with an Indian top underneath the green lantern. Dancin in the hall as there's no play. Where's Sarkar? Were you supporting india today? :antijinx:

velu Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Yes sir! I was shouting for Jaddu! Was wearing my India top from 2008 too :-) :icflove:
hassan_113 Posted June 24, 2013 Author Posted June 24, 2013 I hereby claim I'm the biggest non-Indian fan of India :-) Had a really good time with my Gujarati friend hugging and high fives etc!!! Still on a high as gave a ticket to my senior dr. We both smiled this morning! :-) Went to hotel last night but police security there.
hassan_113 Posted June 24, 2013 Author Posted June 24, 2013 Although I claim i could be half-Indian...:-)
